The Late Mrs. S.T. McCornac
The death of Mrs. Maria MCCORNAC last week Friday removes from Rochester
a much loved lady, whose loss is deeply felt by her family and friends.
She was 62 years old and the widow of the late S.T. McCornac, who died a
few years ago. She was the daughter of the late Zachariah J. and Maria
COFFIN, of Southwest Avon, and her early girlhood was spent here. She
married Mr. McCornac and removed to Detroit, where they resided for many
years, returning to Rochester where Mr. McCornac engaged in business
until his death. She leaves a son, Roy, of Rochester, and daughter, Mrs.
Ethel CHAMBERLAIN, wife of Major DeWitt Chamberlain, of the U.S. army,
stationed at Camp Custer. Funeral services were held from the late home
Monday, with burial in Rochester cemetery.
