Death of Mrs. Peter MILLER

Died, at her home in Oakland township, Friday, June 15, Mrs. Peter Miller, aged 65 years. The remains were interred in Rochester cemetery.
Hannah Eilenberg Miller was born Jan. 7, 1833, in Northampton County, Penn. She was one of a family of seven children. The early years of her life were among the rocks and hills of Eastern Pennsylvania. In Aug. 1863, she was married to Peter F. Miller, of the same county, and the early years of their married life were spent there. In 1865 they moved to Michigan and settled on the farm where they have since resided. Mrs. Miller is survived by her husband and eight children, four sons, L.H. Miller, of Troy; Wm. Miller, of Flushing; Levi Miller of Pontiac; George Miller of Rochester; and four daughters, Mrs. Martha WORTHLY, of Rochester; Mrs. Pauline BREWSTER, of Avon; Mrs. Rebecca HALL of Oakland; Mrs. Susie COTCHER, of Pontiac township, and eighteen grandchildren and one great grand child, all of whom will miss her. She leaves behind a large circle of friends and neighbors who mourn her death; and though she has passed away her memory and her affection will still live in the hearts of those who knew her and loved her.

Rochester Era, July 6, 1900, p.1, col.5.
