Freeman Knowles born Feb 28,1788 Sandisfield, Berkshire County, MA (s/o Paul Knowles & Thankful Snow, gs/o James Knowles & Abigail Atwood, gs/o Jesse Snow & Lois Freeman).  He married about 1817 to Aleatha Badger.

They Had 4 Children:

  1. Erastus born about 1817 died 1900 in Oakland Co.,MI. he married Margaret Lewis.
  2. Jesse  born Jan 11,1822  died Apr 4,1881 in Oakland County, MI.  He married to Martha M. Thompson
  3. James born about 1831
  4. Julia A. born about 1835
